💧 Humectants Market: The Science of Moisture and Shelf Life

The Humectants Market plays a critical, yet often unseen, role across a variety of major industries, including food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. Humectants are hygroscopic substances—meaning they attract and retain moisture—and are indispensable for controlling water activity, improving texture, and extending the shelf life of countless products. Common examples like glycerin, sorbitol, and honey are used to keep goods moist, soft, and stable, thereby enhancing quality and safety for the consumer.

In the food and beverage industry, humectants are vital as food additives in products ranging from confectionery and baked goods to functional foods and, crucially, ready-to-eat (RTE) meals. The surging demand for RTE and pre-packaged foods globally is therefore a primary driver for the increased consumption of humectants.

A really interesting day

Good evening. I thought I would write a few words about my day.

Listened to interview with Gerry on Reality Check Radio. Next stop was this web site. Ordered book and audio book (I like to read and listen simultaneously, helps me process the data faster/deeper). I have listened to the first 5x chapters. I think it might be a late night here as I am thoroughly fascinated by the data. It also aligns with other research I have done on trauma. I am a trauma survivor so have explored the subject a bit of over the years.

Next stop was discovering various aspects of this web site and I found this forum. I haven't posted on a forum for a long time so thought I would write a few words.

I really like your voice Gerry. Highly connective to the content. A relaxing listen while absorbing concepts. Beautiful energy.

Welcome to the Primal Touch Forum

This is your space to ask questions about the use of Primal Touch; share your experiences, give feedback, ask for, and give support, and once enough people sign up in your area, perhaps even find "touch buddies" to do touch exchanges with or to set up a group in your area.

Please keep the posts relevant to the topics of trauma, touch, primal touch and building resilience. There are many other groups and communities out there that cover a wide variety of topics, so rather than doubling up or trying to be everything for everybody, let's keep this forum a safe, supportive and private space for the topics that you may not be able to talk to other people about: touch and trauma.
